MANAGER, LD&D
ALZANA BRAXTON
Alzana Braxton is the Manager, Learning Development and Diversity for the Greater South Carolina District. Prior to this appointment, she was the Senior Diversity Programs Coordinator, EAS-23 for the Southeast Area from 2007 until its closing in 2011. Alzana has over 32 years of postal experience in Diversity Development; Customer Services; Sales; and Advertising and Promotion. This includes 16 years experience in Diversity Development as the Field Diversity Development Specialist in Detroit, MI and Nashville, TN. She has had extended detail assignments as the Manager Diversity & Human Capital, Northeast Area, Southeast Area, and Human Capital Development Specialist at Headquarters.
Ms. Braxton received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Marygrove College and a Master Degree from Central Michigan University in Adult Education. In addition, she has earned numerous spot awards for her performance. She was recognized as a National Diversity Team Award Winner in 2003. She is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator who has dedicated numerous hours to helping others pursue their developmental goals. “If opportunity does not knock, build a door”, says Ms. Braxton.
