ANNETTE THOMPSON
Annette began her career in January 1986 as a Distribution Clerk, MPLSM Trainee, and Accounting Technician. Annette mapped out her dreams and began her journey to achieving them in short order. She determined that in order to become the Finance Manager, she needed field experience and so she quickly aspired to achieve the first step in her dream by becoming a level 13 postmaster in May 1996. She later became a level 15 postmaster within six short months in November 1996. In October 1997, Annette was promoted to Revenue Assurance Analyst in the Columbia PFC. She was still determined and was promoted to Budget Financial Analyst in February 2000 then Manager, Budget/Financial Analyst in March 2004 for the Greater South Carolina District. Annette was appointed Manager, Finance for the Mid-Carolinas District in June 2007.
Annette oversees the total financial responsibility of the district. She is ultimately responsible for Budget, Statistical Programs, Supply Management, TACS, SOX Compliance, Attendance Control, NPA Target TOE, Bank Secrecy Act, and NPA Target Revenue and TOE.
