LABOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST
CONNIE SHORT
Connie Short began her postal career as a clerk in mail processing in September 1985 in Merrifield Va. She soon became an LSM operator. She then transferred to Woodstock Virginia as a clerk/carrier in a small post office. She later transferred to Culpeper Virginia and became a T-6 city carrier. In 1995, she transferred to Taylors South Carolina as a PTF clerk. She began to 204B in 1999 and enrolled in the Associate Supervisor Program in 2000. After graduating on July 3rd, 2001 she became a supervisor in Greer SC.
Connie was promoted to her current position as a Labor Relations Specialist in November 2003. She has held various detailed assignments during her career to include Officer-In-Charge in a level 18 and 20 Post Office as well as a Customer Service Analyst for the POOM in the Upstate. Connie is married to Larry Short. She has 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
