DISTRICT COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
HARRY SPRATLIN
Harry Spratlin is the District Communications Coordinator for the U. S. Postal Service in the Greater South Carolina District. His responsibilities include internal and external communications, providing information for the media and over 6,000 employees. Harry serves as a congressional liaison for the district, and writes articles for USPS News Link and Cap Metro Leader. He designs, writes and publishes Postmark, a quarterly employee news magazine for district employees.
Harry began his 38-year Postal career in Jacksonville, Florida in the mid-70’s as a Letter Sorting Machine operator. He transferred to Columbia and earned a BA degree from the University of South Carolina while working nights at the Columbia Post Office. He began his career in communications in 1989 as a graphic artist and photographer, and has been the Communications Coordinator for the Greater South Carolina District since December, 1997.
