HEDY MALISZEWSKI
HR SPECIALIST, LD&D
Before coming to the Postal Service Hedy Maliszewski earned a Masters degree in Education and taught in New Jersey Public Schools for five years and in Charlotte for two. Hedy began her USPS career as a Rural Carrier Associate in Charlotte in 1991. In 1995 she became a Regular Rural Carrier at Carmel Station in Charlotte, NC. In 1997 Hedy graduated from the Associate Supervisor program. Hedy's first management position was Supervisor of Customer Service at the Minuet Station in Charlotte, NC. While in Charlotte Hedy was detailed as both a TACS and a POS instructor.
Following her assignment in Charlotte, NC, Hedy performed as Supervisor, Customer Service at Morrisville Post Office for five years. In 2006, she detailed to the Greensboro District where she assisted the Retail Department in training clerks, supervisors, managers and postmasters in Revenue Generation. Hedy was detailed to the Learning Development and Diversity Department in 2007 and was promoted to Human Resources Specialist (Training), in 2008. As a Training Specialist for the Learning and Diversity Department, she performs duties in the Learning Management System (LMS), Maintenance Selection System (MSS), DRAC for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, District eHRSSC Facilitator, District Voice of the Employee (VOE) Survey Coordinator, Examinations, Diversity, Veterans Contact, Randolph Sheppard Coordinator (Food Service), and PES Coordinator (Pay for Performance).
Facilitator: One on One Assessment
