MANAGER, POST OFFICE OPERATIONS
KESHA HOLIFIELD
In 1998, Kesha started her career as a City Carrier. She worked to improve Customer Service and bridge the gap between management and craft, through union and management meetings. In 2004, Kesha started her management career as a Management Intern, at the Greensboro District. Kesha has held various managerial positions with the Postal Service. Upon graduating from the program in 2006, her next assignment was at the Elizabeth City Office where she was producing solid results as the Postmaster. She was performing as Acting Area 1 POOM, where she has demonstrated the ability to manage a diversity of post offices. In July 2011, Kesha was promoted to POOM for Area 1.
With her operational background and success as the Postmaster Elizabeth City, as POOM, Kesha is a critical team member who has proven her readiness and skill set. She works well with peers and consistently contributes to the success of the Greensboro Cluster.
Kesha assumes responsibility for her actions and is a focused manager with high communication skills. She achieves service and financial targets and has proven herself as a manager ready for increased responsibility. Kesha actively participates in employee development and diversity initiatives. Kesha completed Greenbelt training, where she is an active member on project assignments, and has a degree in Business Administration/Management.
She is a manager and leader who demonstrate the vision and aptitude necessary to succeed in both operational and support executive management. Kesha is a leader who has proven that she is ready for increased responsibility and advancement, and building a team of cohorts to fill in the management gaps.
Kesha has made outstanding contributions to the Postal Service and continues to grow herself and team.
